Tumbak Stool

A solid wood stool turned on the lathe with an elegant hourglass shape. It can be used for seating or as a side table. 

It stands at 16 inches tall x 12 inches in diameter weighs roughly 25-35 pounds depending on wood species. Made from urban downed trees that have been air dried for a period before kiln dried, producing the most beautiful grain.

Currently offered in black walnut, ash, redwood, and elm. Each stool is unique based on the characteristics of the tree the stool is made from, which determines how the wood is pieced together before turning on the lathe.
